We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator with a minimum of 8-10 years of expertise in stucco and Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) projects.
Responsibilities:
Project Evaluation:
Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements, specifications, and drawings. Analyze stucco and EIFS elements, considering materials, labor, and equipment needed. Cost Estimation:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for stucco and plaster projects. Utilize historical data, market trends, and industry knowledge to ensure precision. Bid Proposal Development:
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive bid proposals. Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiations. Vendor and Subcontractor Management:
Source and evaluate potential suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness. Risk Assessment:
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with stucco and plaster projects. Propose risk mitigation strategies to enhance project success. Cost Control:
Work closely with project teams to monitor and control project costs. Implement measures to prevent cost overruns and maintain profitability. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry advancements, new materials, and construction methodologies. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of estimating processes. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating stucco and EIFS projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
