We are seeking a Director of Product who will take the helm of the next stage of our innovation journey. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of new product development, from conceptualization, to market launch, to iteration, ensuring that products continuously meet customer needs, industry standards, and business objectives.This individual will report directly to the President and supervise a small team of engineers globally. This individual will maintain strong partnerships with leaders in Sales, Operations and Quality.

Lead development and launch of new products Partner with Sales to build strong relationships with customers, developing a deep understanding of their needs. Lead Engineering in designing and launching new products to customer specifications, establishing clear milestones, timelines, and budgets for each phase of the product development lifecycle and executing to it. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Quality, ensuring launch of serial production parts occurs ahead of schedule, under budget, without defects. Brief senior management weekly on progress of new product launch across Flow Dry locations. Drive strategic innovation Identify emerging technologies, market opportunities, and threats to inform strategic decision-making. Lead engineering team in developing innovations to address market developments, ensuring that Flow Dry not only remains at the forefront of its industry, but grows. Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging engineers to explore new technologies, materials, and design concepts. Passionately serve customers In a highly technical industry, our engineers play a critical role in our sales process, building customer confidence in our capabilities. Exude a passion for driving strong customer service, actively engaging with customers both on potential new projects and concerns regarding existing projects. Maintain strong relationships with technical counterparts at customer organizations, ensuring we understand their future needs and proactively prepare to meet them. Build a strong engineering organization Lead engineers across Flow Dry facilities in sharing technologies and best practices, ensuring we learn and grow from one another. Actively support engineers in developing their careers. Other responsibilities as required Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, chemical or materials engineering/science, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Proven track record of leadership in product development, with at least 5 years of experience in a management role. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes. Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams.
