Role requires experience in Drafting and 3D modeling in CREO and also autoCAD/Draftsight. Knowledge of good drafting practices including GD&T is a must.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Plans lays outs draws models and revises detailed part assembly and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts established references and standard data for medical devices parts assemblies and packaging. Utilizes computeraided design equipment and/or graphic tools specifically 3D CAD software CREO and most be familiear with autoCad/Draftsight as well as familiarity with PDM link. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices and use of GDampT. Determines scaling inserts necessary reference planes centering and dimension lines hidden line interpolations and sectioning prepares specifications for parts assemblies and installations prepares complete production detail drawings contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.
TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Provides technical support in areas such as process improvement or product development. Uses schematics diagrams written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on mechanical components equipment or systems. Gathers maintains formats compiles and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.

Autonomy: Seasoned individual contributor who can communicate efficiently and work under limited supervision and direction from engineers and senior Designers.
Organizational Impact: Performs technical activities requiring considerable judgment and may have ownership of minor projects and designs. Work consists of technical tasks that are typically not routine.
Innovation and Complexity: Technical problems faced are general and may require some analysis to understand and resolve. Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for review.
Communication and Influence: Communicates typically with internal contacts and team members. Obtains and provides technical information on matters of moderate importance to the job area.
Leadership and Talent Management: Responsible for providing guidance coaching and training to other employees within job area.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires complete and broad knowledge of operational systems techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education. Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience preferred.
