We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and assist our experienced dental professionals in delivering top-quality dental services. Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms for procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials. Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including passing instruments, maintaining suction, and providing chairside support. Take X-rays, as well as perform impressions and other diagnostic procedures. Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Manage and organize dental supplies, monitor inventory levels, and reorder items as necessary. Update and maintain patient records, treatment plans, and appointment schedules accurately in our practice management software. Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and address their questions or concerns. Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling billing and insurance-related matters. Maintain open communication with the dental team, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal patient care. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and regulations. Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program. Proficiency in taking X-rays. Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment. Prior experience with dental practice management software is a plus. Benefits:
