Responsibilities
• Responsible for day-to-day data center operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data center operations• Maintain a robust and secure data center environment, including power distribution, cooling systems, and physical security• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of data center hardware• Implement and manage data center infrastructure upgrades and expansions as needed• Monitor and assess the performance of data center equipment and systems• Identify and resolve performance issues proactively• Develop and enforce security protocols and access controls• Ensure compliance with data center-related regulations and standards• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans• Manage relationships with data center service providers, vendors, and contractors• Develop and manage the data center budget• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data center configurations, procedures, and incidents• Generate regular reports on data center performance, uptime, and efficiency
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years experience• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain security clearances• Possess or be able to obtain one of the listed certifications• Proven experience in data center management• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, hardware, and networking• Familiarity with data center best practices, standards, and security protocols• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities• Strong leadership and team management skills• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to lift and move data center equipment as needed• Availability for on-call duties and occasional after-hours work
