Crash Champions is seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team and lead the data warehouse team in designing and implementing data architecture solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform. The data architect will manage the data warehouse team of developers to ensure the solutions meet the business needs to support business intelligence and data integration. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Microsoft Fabric stack of technologies, including Azure Synapse Data Engineering and Azure Data Factory, along with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT and cloud migration. This role brings deep technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and excellent teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities :  Designs and updates data architecture to meet the changing business needs and new technology capabilities. Provide hands-on guidance, mentoring, and validation for data warehouse team of developers and DBA, leading and communicating effectively with various business stakeholders. Provide hands-on development of new data solutions, master data management, and ETL / ELT processes, using data modeling and SQL skills to optimize scalability, performance tuning, reliability, and security of data systems and ensure data quality and consistency. Communicates insights and technical solutions to business stakeholders. Demonstrate leadership experience by collaborating with stakeholders, business users, data and BI developers, and IT leadership, to understand their data requirements. Multi-Tasking - Ability to work and successfully complete many different tasks at the same time Problem-Solving - Ability to determine solutions to customer problems quickly and effectively Excellent Written and Verbal Communication - Ability to provide clear, concise information in writing, via phone or in-person Demonstrate extensive experience in data architecture and data team management Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Fabric technology stack and Microsoft SQL Server, including Azure Synapse Data Engineering, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Data Science, Synapse Data Warehouse, Synapse Real-Time Analytics, Onelake, and Power BI, with a focus on data migration, movement, and transformation. Implement ETL design patterns for data warehousing using Kimball methodology and master data management, with expertise in T-SQL scripting, query optimization and data governance Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail, data validation, and documentation. Full lifecycle development (SDLC) skills using Azure DevOps and source code management tools like Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines ?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or other related fields with experience Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Competitive pay Weekly Paychecks 401K with company match Medical/Vision/Dental Insurance Additional elective benefits
