Responsibilities Provide cost estimating advice and technical assistance to functional specialists in identifying and evaluating program cost factors and cost impact on program alternatives. Refine and adjust cost models in response to changes in technical specifications, support requirements, design alternatives, engineering, and operational trade-off proposals. Develop life cycle cost estimates to determine the total cost of the program. Analyze mission requirements to determine cost parameters, specific cost factors and relationships to be utilized in constructing cost models. Support the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates and provide Army Cost Experience Expertise to the Product Office in the execution of their Mission. Qualifications 5+ Years of Cost Estimating experience. DoD PM experience required (US Army preferred) Experience supporting the development of Army Program Office key deliverables that include financial data. Preferred Skills Headquarters Staff experience or similar DoD Program/Project Offices Experience with PEO Aviation Products Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition process and procurement regulations Collection and analysis of information to assess cost, schedule, and performance associated with risk identification and risk management activities. Experience using Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT) FMS experience Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
