Directly impacting the quality of life for our residents by preparing palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals. Working alongside other culinary team members preparing and serving meals, cleaning, and storing supplies and equipment in accordance with departmental procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Prepares and maintains supply of food substitutes to accommodate resident choices, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences. Communicates with Culinary Services Manager throughout shift as needed to ensure we are meeting needs of the residents. Requirements Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Kitchen cooking experience in full-service restaurants or healthcare, preferred. Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling is preferred. We are committed to the safety and health of our team members, residents and families we serve.
