Your methodical and detail-oriented approach will be essential in not only preparing and serving meals, but also maintaining inventory and keeping accurate records. What you'll need to be our Cook: Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work Consistent and methodical with repetitive routine and established procedures Self-disciplined and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work Current Food Handler's Permit and pass the Food Safety Manager Certification within twelve months of hire. Ideally, you have previous experience in the food and/or nutrition industry. Track budget for all food and non-food items, as well as keep complete and accurate records of all purchases by following our purchasing procedures.
Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitary.
Assist teaching staff in integrating nutrition education into the curriculum.
