Controller - Manufacturing

Job Title: Controller Location: Akron, OH

Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance and provide analysis. Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow and working capital. Monitor A/R, A/P, and inventory. Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis to support decision-making. Provide ad hoc reports. Cost Accounting: Oversee cost accounting processes. Ensure accurate product costing. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls. Perform audits to identify risks. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP. Proficiency in ERP (Epicor) systems.
