As an SEC Reporting Consultant your typical day may involve: Executing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes. Preparing 8-K, 10-K and 10-Q schedules for public company filings. Assisting in the development and organization of financial statements, reports, and budget preparation, timely and accurately Preparing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries Balancing and maintaining subsidiary accounts by allocating, posting, verifying, and reconciling accounts receivable and payable. Play an important part in the organization's financial management which involves all record reconciliations and reporting to essential parties. Collect evidence and assistance for both internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits. Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support the achievement of business goals. Requirements:
SEC reporting experience required Experience working in Workiva reporting software Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Certifications (such as CMA or CPA) and public accounting experience (Big 4) will be a bonus. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial accounting statements, and business trends.
