Terms of Employment: Regular, full-time 12-month position with benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the accounting associated with the University's General Ledger, in compliance with Oklahoma State Law and Regional Universities System of Oklahoma (RUSO) and University policies as they apply to accounting principles and procedures. Comptroller serves as "pre-audit" officer for expenditure claims as authorized by the Oklahoma Office of State Finance.
Qualifications: This position requires training and experience in fund accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Incumbent must be proficient in Microsoft Office software and able to work well with programmers and computer help desk attendants. Organizational and communication skills are a must. Ability to maintain confidentiality is important. Accuracy is of prime importance. Must be self-motivated, as well as able to multi-task and meet multiple cyclical deadlines, in order to be successful in this position. This position may require occasional job-related travel.
