Summary The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing direct analytical support for the development and execution of various compensation programs and projects to ensure competitive, compliant, and motivating compensation. In partnership with the Director, Total rewards, the Senior Compensation Analyst will work closely with other functional areas to ensure that the compensation program supports the company's mission and goals. The Senior Compensation Analyst will provide analytical and reporting support to and collaborate extensively with the various functional areas of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities Manages and leads the process of bonus/incentive/commission plan setup, payment calculation, analysis and communication of plan-to-date achievement/earnings Manages and leads the Stock Grant Equity Plan Partners with the payroll team to ensure timely plan deployment, payroll submissions, and audit compliance Manages all plan updates and edits/documentation of all bonus/incentive and commission plans Takes the lead on auditing compensation ensure compliant, accurate data Creates, maintains and distributes policy and supporting documentation Use market data and internal data sources to ensure the competitiveness and fairness of our current compensation practices Prepares employee communications related to compensation Performs special studies, analysis and recommendations on compensation and other human resources related issues as needed Supports the communications of compensation policy to staff and compensation guidance to business partners Continuous research and learning of new industry trends in compensation Contributes to strategic decision making through the collection, analysis, and application of workforce data Conducts market studies and analysis and recommends compensation structures to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment to the company's compensation philosophy Analyzes, reviews, and develops materials related to the execution of all compensation programs Develops, maintains, and update systems, processes, and documentation critical to the reporting and tracking of bonus and compensation metrics Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with key partners in HR, Legal, Finance, Accounting and Executive Leadership Responds to multiple ad hoc analyses and requests from senior management Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred 3+ years of compensation experience preferred Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation and employment laws preferred Requires advanced data analytics skill set, advanced Excel skills, and ability to work with complex data sets for large scale analyses, programs and projects Good understanding of payroll, human resources and benefits processes Advanced interpersonal and communications skills to establish rapport with a wide variety of constituents including clients, colleagues and all levels of management.
