Our recently renovated Audiology department has state-of-the-art equipment so you are well prepared to provide the best services to our adult and pediatric patients. Plus, as a member of our collaborative and cohesive team, you will have the opportunity to conduct a wide variety of audiological evaluations including conventional audiometry, hearing aid dispensing, VNGs, ABRs, and ECoGs, but additional expertise with play audios is a plus!
This position will primarily work at the Hickory office, however will require the ability to commute part of the time between one of two satellite offices. —Dr. Sara Mooney Day to day: Responsible for conducting tests include air and bone conduction, tympanometry, speech testing, acoustic reflexes and OAE's.Diagnostic evaluations include ABR, ECOG, and VNG.Provide hearing treatment and services to both adult and pediatric patients and have the ability to counsel the patient and family of patients regarding available treatment options and devices.Provide minor repairs and modifications for hearing aids as necessary.Requirements and Education: Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree preferred; will consider master's degree (or equivalent) in Audiology from an accredited program.Current or eligible to obtain Audiology licensure in the state of North Carolina.Provide accurate and reliable audiological testing in a timely manner.Schedule, authorize, and complete any special testing requested by the physicians.Experience with diagnostic ABR evaluations (follow up failed NBHS testing) is preferred.Benefits to enjoy: Medical, dental, vision insuranceShort & long-term disability insuranceLife insurancePaid time off + enjoy your birthday as PTO!401(k) with profit sharing matchCEU allowanceLicensure reimbursementLunch-ins with coworkersHoliday staff eventsAnd more!
