Job Title: Civil Technician II MODS
Location: Arkansas
Summary:
The Civil Technician II MODS performs physical labor duties on a construction project, including finishing and smoothing surfaces of poured concrete, digging ditches, installing PVC piping, installing power plants, setting equipment, and performing minor electrical work. This position requires the use of a personal truck and offers incentives for gas, mileage, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Perform DC/AC electrical work
Work with concrete and pour pads
Perform grounding work
Communicate effectively with management and vendors
Complete closeouts and rawlands
Spread footers
Troubleshoot equipment
Install data equipment
Install power plants (battery backup system)
Install PVC piping
Dig ditches
Set equipment
Perform all electrical work
Requirements:
High School Diploma
1-2 years of experience preferred
Telecom experience preferred
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment, and risk control
Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace
Correct utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment
