Hire Resolve's client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Civil Project Engineer in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities: Gaining mastery over the entire project, able to function as the lead engineer on small to medium scale projects and/or completely engineer complex systems on large/campus scale project. Gaining command of the overall department project scope in pursuit of becoming an independent front line Sr. Engineer. Perform engineering calculations using full suite of software tools. Will regularly function as the Responsible Engineer of Record accountable for the technical sufficiency of some or all Civil department project deliverables. May perform ITR on other's work within the department. Ability to coordinate and communicate with architects and engineers both internally and externally. Ensures design constructability and coordination with other disciplines necessary for a successful construction project. Ensures all Civil Construction Administration responsibilities for project are handled successfully. Requirements Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering 6+ years (2 years with PE) LEED AP BD+C Credential (preferred) or GPCP Certification, or ability to obtain LEED AP BD+C Credential. Professional License in Civil Engineering. EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint, CAD/BIM: Autodesk Civil 3D or MicroStation. US Citizenship with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance. Great attitude and team player. Successful completion of background screening process.
