A thriving, established, employee-owned multidisciplinary firm that provides a complete package of civil and structural engineering, planning, surveying, and GIS services actively seeks Land Development Engineer to join our Kirkland, WA office.
Our civil engineers specialize in providing effective designs for projects involving all aspects of land development. We offer a variety of project capabilities including property master planning, permitting, feasibility studies, erosion and sediment control, grading, drainage, water, sewer, and road improvements.
Site Civil Engineer Qualifications and Experience Needed:
3+ years of experience pertaining to site grading, storm drainage, and/or commercial type projects
Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Must have technical competence
Hydraulic modeling experience is a plus
Must have an EIT certification with the intent of obtaining PE
Must be a strong communicator
Site Civil Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
You will prepare construction documents and estimates for land development projects. This includes design of erosion control, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution systems, and street improvements
You will prepare earthwork volumes, storm drainage calculations, technical specifications, construction cost estimates, technical reports, and other supporting documentation for completion of land development projects
You will prepare written communication to client and agencies
Assist with and/or coordinate permitting efforts
You will provide construction support and observation on land development projects
You will participate in procuring and maintaining client relationships

$65,000 to $80,000 depending on experience and we offer a competitive benefits package.
