About the Position: Oversees the day-to-day and long-term operations of the case management team by providing guidance, resources, and back-up, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of services to children and families in foster care and/or intact services.
A Typical Day as an Child Welfare Team Supervisor: Ensure that services plans are completed on time and reflect client input. Evaluate all foster care services provided to ensure the services are meeting long-term objectives of the agency and meeting standards of time and cost efficiencies Provide case management and other services to clients when staff is not available Review and approve records, reports, and documentation from supervised staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines and procedures Provide weekly one-on-one supervision with case management team Location: 1315A Curt Drive, Champaign, IL with willingness to travel and spend several hours in the field visiting client's homes, communities, and attending court. This office provides services to the following counties: Champaign, Macon, Ford and Piatt
Work Hours: Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of youth and families served
Does the Following Apply to You?
