Job Description Johnson County Community College Position, Department: Child Care Aide, Student Success & Engagement Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt Work Schedule, Hours per week: 7:30 am-5:30 pm, varies depending on department needs, 12 hours per week Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.75 and determined based on relevant years of work experience. Pay Grade: 50.50 Benefits Category: Partial benefits Position Summary: Aid in the preparation and implementation of a program appropriate for a designated group of young children when assigned to fill in for a regular staff member who is absent. Required Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent
Experience with children in a group setting.
Good interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Twelve college credit hours in early childhood education
Experience with word processing and general computer use
Experience with children within the age range of 12 months to 6 years
Experience in a child care center or preschool
