Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Over the Road CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record and a minimum of 2 years of experience in long-haul trucking. As an Over the Road Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery, adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities: Safely operate and maneuver a tractor-trailer over long distances, including highways and interstates. Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, and brakes; report any issues or concerns. Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards, maintaining logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, adhering to rest periods and other requirements. Maintain accurate logs and records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including securing cargo properly and using required safety equipment. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, representing the company professionally at all times. Requirements: Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Class A truck driver, preferably in over the road or long haul transportation. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Strong communication and time management skills Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
