Cashier - Credit Union

Essential Functions: SHARES
1. Basic teller functions (deposits/withdrawals)
2. Set up new accounts on CUSA System (savings, CD's, checking, clubs)
3. Order checks
4. Order debit cards, set up in CUSA 
5. Setup online accounts
6. Open and maintain certificate accounts – new, renewals, rollovers, closures
LOANS
1. Accept loan applications and prepare for approval/Credit Committee review
2. Verify information given on loan application
3. Mail forms as necessary
MEMBER ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE
1. Enter open/closed accounts on CUSA System.
2. Enter transfers between accounts.
3. Enter address changes and other account maintenance.
4. Field problematic telephone and window inquiries.
ACCOUNTING
1. Prove daily balancing for office.
2. Prepare and prove weekly cash courier deposit
OTHER DUTIES
1. Cover teller window – all activities.
2. Mailroom deliveries/pickups and distribution
3. Operate computer system (open, close, backup, etc.).
4. Rotate to branch office as needed (Morristown)
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications: Prior cash handling experience and cashier/office experience preferred Banking/Credit Union experience beneficial
