The Coordinator is responsible for managing the front desk, student workers, handling phone calls, emails, and mail correspondence, scheduling/confirming appointments, and maintaining records and databases. In addition, they will also be responsible for ordering supplies and managing inventory, coordinating meetings and events, and ensuring that the office is organized, and fully functional.
Duties and Responsibilities: The coordinator will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and employers seeking assistance from the Career Center. The coordinator will need to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Assist with cultivating and maintaining relationships with employers and industry partners. This includes coordinating employer visits, managing job postings, and providing on-site support during employer events.
Assist with developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage students, alumni, and employers. This includes assisting with social media accounts and promoting campus-wide events.
Assist with planning and executing career services events such as career fairs, employer visits, and career workshops. This includes preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and providing on-site support. The coordinator will assist with the daily supervision of our career center student workers, training and direct and manage schedules and workloads.
The coordinator will work with the Career Center Director with uploading contracts, (Service Level Agreements) and assist in developing and implementing strategic plans and goals for the Career Center. This includes conducting research, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Required Qualifications: Associate degree, or vocational or technical school degree.
