Job Description:
Graybar Electric is seeking a remote Call Center Associate to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Call Center Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support through phone calls, emails, and online chat. This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:- Answering inbound calls and assisting customers with product inquiries, placing orders, and resolving any issues or concerns- Responding to customer emails and online chat messages in a timely and professional manner- Processing orders accurately and efficiently in our system- Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues- Conducting research to provide customers with accurate information and solutions- Collaborating with other team members to provide a seamless customer experience- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude in all customer interactions- Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:- 4 years of experience in a customer service or call center role- Resourceful and dedicated personality traits- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-volume call traffic- Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with CRM software- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- High school diploma or equivalent required
