The Mixed Reality Systems and Software Engineering team has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Senior Calibration Software Engineer with experience in C++ and/or Python, computer vision, and image processing, to help us develop calibration solutions for upcoming products. Responsibilities • Implement and advance calibration solutions for mixed reality devices, with focus on calibration of cameras and displays, and evaluate their performance. • Solve computer vision, image processing, and optimization problems arising in geometric calibration of mixed reality devices. • Support manufacturing and factory calibration of mixed reality devices. • Evaluate requirements, design and implement software, improve the development process and perform integration and testing. Qualifications: • A BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. • 5 years of professional experience developing and shipping software in C++ or Python • Familiarity with fundamental concepts of computer visions/image processing Preferred Qualifications: • Academic or professional experience with applications of computer vision, image processing, machine learning, robotics, computer graphics, or related disciplines • Camera driver SW development on Qualcomm (QC) Platform • Experience in Azure DevOps.
