Automation Operator

This position exists to operate various automated machinery for Bal Seal Engineering manufacturing clients.
Pay range is $17.90- $23.88 per hour depending upon experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion Works under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional area Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job Observes while the machine is being repaired by a Technician Observes and follows all safety protocols Learns the use of precision measuring tools Perform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplace Perform other related duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: 1 years of automation operation experience preferred, not required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to promote and work in a highly collaborative environment Ability to perform in a medium to fast-paced environment
