DeepCure is seeking a highly-skilled, well-organized, and motivated Junior Scientist/Laboratory Technician to join and strengthen our Discovery team, working at our Boston based lab space, in the heart of downtown Boston. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on redefining drug discovery by collaborating with our global team of researchers who are applying our transformative Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform to the development of novel therapeutics. More about DeepCure: DeepCure is a next-generation therapeutics company, built from the ground-up with equal importance to computation and life-sciences. Our mission is to deliver to patients safer and more efficacious therapeutics that are extremely unlikely to be discovered by traditional drug discovery pipelines. We are a team of curious, multidisciplinary, and impact-driven professionals on a quest to redefine the way drugs are discovered. Our US office is located in Boston, and our Israel office and lab is located in the Rehovot Science Park. This position is based in our Israel office/lab, and requires full time office attendance, and flexibility in work hours in order to accommodate collaboration with our US-based team. 

Responsibilities:
In this role you will: Design, develop and execute experiments using many different cellular, immunological and biochemical methods Work with traditional drug discovery experimental setting Be responsible for lab administration and orders of equipment and reagents Scientific documentation including protocols, reports and presentation of the exprimental work

REQUIREMENTS Basic requirements:  M.S. and 5+ years of relevant experience or B.S. and 7+ years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes working with tissue culture and primary cells, development cell based and biochemical assays, immunological assays (FACS, ELISA), molecular and biochemical methods (RT-PCR, Westen blot) Scientific expertise in cellular biology and immunology related methods Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a global and diverse team of internal and external co-workers Excellent written and verbal communication in English Creative approach to solving challenging problems Excitement about the vision and mission of DeepCure to redefine drug discovery through innovation A perfect candidate has:  Strong self-derived motivation for experimental work using innovative as well as traditional set-ups and methodologies to support drug discovery programs.  Expertise in using electronic notebook and other commonly used laboratory platforms.  Ability and desire to work collaboratively on complex problems – engaged with a diverse group of scientists, integrating data from multiple disciplines Experience in small molecule drug discovery in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
