Responsibilities
• Manage small-scale projects, adhering to timelines and budget constraints• Conduct on-site field work such as wetland delineations and habitat surveys• Author clear and concise technical reports• Articulate complex scientific findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• Travel overnight and out of state for fieldwork
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field• 3+ years of scientific/biology experience• Experience planning and conducting environmental investigations and field surveys• Availability to travel out-of-state for field work• Valid driver's license and good driving history• Willingness to work a nontraditional work schedule• Experience with wetland plants, soils, hydrology, and/or avian identification skills• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Geographic Position Systems (GPS) preferred• Ability to work outdoors in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
