Read more:careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Position SummaryReporting to the Senior Director, Thought Leadership and Content Strategy, the Associate Director, Thought Leadership serves as a key member of BMS's Thought Leadership team, supporting the execution of BMS's global thought leadership strategy and the development of associated content that supports the BMS story, promotes business growth, resonates with priority stakeholders, and reflects the unique interests and expertise of each leader.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and evolution of the BMS thought leadership strategy to align with company priorities, goals, and milestonesContinually seek out opportunities and develop communications plans for leadership team members to tell the BMS story via external and internal events speaking engagements, social media, media opportunities, etc.Maintain a pulse on the top issues impacting BMS and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole to inform potential areas for thought leadershipProvide counsel and coaching to leadership team in support of opportunities identified as part of the thought leadership strategyEnsure alignment of the leadership team's messaging and engagement opportunitiesKey QualificationsAccomplished communications professional with a minimum of 8+ years of communications experience, preferably in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industryProject management skills with proven success managing major projects and deadlinesExcellent writing and research skills, with knowledge of AP style and a keen attention to detailSuperior written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skillsExceptional problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skillsExcels in fast-paced, challenging environmentBachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or other relevant field#LI-HybridIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
