Associate Attorney

Long time established local firm seeking a 5yr experienced associate attorney to join their growing team! With a relaxed atmosphere and convenient location, you would definitely enjoy making the change.  Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist with case management, including organizing files and maintaining case calendars
- Attend client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Louisiana state bar association
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in legal research tools and software
