Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Bridgeton Public Schools

The Bridgeton School District is seeking a dynamic collaborative leader for the position of Assistant Superintendent. The Bridgeton School District is responsible for educating more than 6,500 students at eight daycare care facilities, one preschool center, one high school, one early college high school program, one alternative high school program, one ExCEL program, and six-K-8 elementary schools located in beautiful, historic Cumberland County, New Jersey.

Qualifications:

A valid New Jersey School Administrator Certificate

Masters and preferably higher degree with emphasis on school administration

Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and professional staff development

Experience in designing and implementing successful professional development models

Experience in developing and implementing school improvement plans

Proven track record in raising student achievement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Five years building principal experience

Strong organizational and technological skills necessary to promote educational excellence

Ability to lead a dynamic, caring and dedicated staff, on a district-wide level, towards continuous improvement of teaching and learning
