Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembler IV (Second Shift) in El Paso, TX. The core hours are 3:30 pm - 12:15 am. The rate for this position is $19.68 per hour. What you'll do:The Assembler IV is responsible for a wide range of skills including wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly or wiring required for test preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping with assigned functions.In this function, you will:Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, and wiring schematics.Use various tools, such as wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, impact guns, drills, and pliers to perform the electrical wiring assembly of switchboards.Handle materials by established procedures.Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.Lift 20 lbs. with reasonable accommodation as required.Perform other functions and/or tasks as assignedFlexing into other functions of the businessAbility to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgencyQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:1 year of wiring experience or a completed technical degree in a related field OR Connectors I AND Connectors II certifications electrical No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
