Location: Boston, MA Category: Administrators Posted On: Mon May 13 2024 Job Description: The Admissions Operations and CRM Manager will be the primary technical and operational manager of TargetX, the college's Salesforce based enrollment customer relationship management system and all Admissions operational and procedural functions that relate to the CRM. The position will oversee the daily use of TargetX for the Admissions and Recruitment Office, troubleshoot all issues related to the system, support training of all admissions staff, manage access levels, create and run reports, and collaborate with all enrollment areas involved in using the system. This person will be well-versed in community college admissions practices and the use of technology to enhance prospective and new student engagement.




This is a hybrid position that allows for the flexibility of an agreed upon remote work schedule, as well as, flexibility for full work days on campus as needed for training sessions and other meetings.




Primary Responsibilities: Primary role is supporting Admissions and Recruitment with all aspects of the new student application and all the related process, reports, communication plans, tracking, reporting, training, customer relations protocols, and refinement. Collaborate and work across departments that are engaging with the CRM. Serve as the primary resource for the Admissions and Recruitment Office in building email template, communication campaigns, managing events and building needed reports. Collaborate with the Director of Admissions and Recruitment to develop enrollment reports, dashboards and audit reports within the CRM. Collaborate with the Information Technology Department, Academic Records, and the enrollment division Business Analyst/Programmer to ensure data integration of TargetX to Colleague is working effectively. Responsible for the implementation of new applications and modules within the CRM. Monitor overall processing of matriculating student applications; process applications and address errors in processing. Create training documents related to admissions procedures and policies and the CRM. Work with the Enrollment Management Business Analyst/Programmer to monitor student data moving from TargetX and into the SIS system, Colleague utilizing Axiom as well as other TargetX connected systems. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned including processing applications, responding to emails, scanning transcripts and uploading them to Image Now and TargetX as needed, creating training documents and serving on college wide committees as needed. Support enrollment events during peak time-frames in the evening and weekends, specifically two Saturdays in August, September and again in January. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related field. At least 3-5 years direct experience in managing technical and operational aspects of a CRM platform including basic configuration, technical troubleshooting and feature expansion. Experience in systems data integration. Experience working in an institution of Higher Education or related organization. Possess strong analytical skills with project management and planning skills. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills that will ensure that reports and presentations are clear and concise. Demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ease, be self-motivated and proactive, have critical attention to detail, be able to prioritize and meet deadlines while working on multiple projects, and have creative problem-solving skills. Experience designing and facilitating technical training sessions. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working at a community college, ideally in Admissions and Recruitment. Experience with Student Information Systems (Colleague) etc. Experience working with Salesforce, and more specifically TargetX Recruitment.
