POSITION TITLE: Adjunct Trainer-Goodwill Certificates (General)
REPORTS TO: Lead Trainer and Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
DATE: 08/03/2022
Rate: $30 per hour
JOB SUMMARY: Adjunct trainers serve as part-time training staff who operate under the Workforce Development umbrella and offer training for Goodwill clients under the GCPI and Employment program certificate programs. The Goodwill Certificates Trainer will work to support Goodwill training certifications and classes that serve the public good and include coursework such as Employment Essentials, Unarmed Security, various other certificates, and relevant workshops that support Goodwill clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Serve as trainer for Employment Essentials, Unarmed Security, various other certificates, and relevant workshops on a part-time basis.
· Responsible for facilitation of Goodwill certificate and employment programs offered under OBPVS through GCPI.
· Provides training in all certificate areas on a rotating basis.
· Provides Roadshow training on behalf of Goodwill for the identified training areas.
· Documentation of training materials.
· Administration of training records.
· Documents completions and outcomes from training.
· Evaluate client/student performance and the ability to address concerns as needed.
· Serve on training committees as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
· Associates degree preferred or 5 years or more in associated field of study.
· 1 year of training in one of the areas listed as a training emphasis.
· 2+ years in a training or supervisory role.
· 2+ years' experience in working with MS Office 2016 or higher.
· 2+ years working in construction industry or manufacturing if teaching those areas.
· Ability to obtain a CLEET certificate or CLEET licensed.
· Clean driving record.
· Experience with the Google Suite.
· Must have driver's license and valid insurance.
· Ability to show credentials in areas requested to teach (certificate programs).
· Experience in job development for individuals with multiple barriers to employment.
