Job Description:
LKQ is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our remote team based in San Antonio, Texas. This part-time role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and is ideal for someone who is reliable, passionate about finance, and possesses strong leadership and analysis skills.
Responsibilities:- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Prepare and process payments to vendors on a timely basis- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations of the accounts payable process- Provide support for any ad-hoc financial projects or tasks as needed
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently in a remote environment- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Experience with SAP is a plus- Reliable and passionate about delivering high-quality work- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team
