A growing division of a Fortune 500 company is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to report to and work closely with the Controller and accounting staff to performing a variety of duties.
Responsibilities include: Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings Preparation of Blackline reconciliations Assist with budget preparations Resolution of daily accounting matters with accounting staff Assist the Credit Manager in resolution of past due receivables Provide corporate and internal data requests. Provide customer and supplier administrative requests. Perform freight audits, process rebate credits, prepare cycle count overviews, and maintain fixed asset records. Submit claims to supplier programs Fulfill data requests from internal and external audit groups Participate in accounting, system implementation, and operational projects as needed Required Experience/Education/Skills :
