Title: Account Manager Technical Sales Support

Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 Days WHAT YOU'LL DO The Account Manager – Technical Sales Support, under minimum supervision, builds and maintains relationships with Energy Advantage Dealers. Promotes the use of natural gas and energy related products to new and existing customers. Responsible for identifying and documenting growth opportunities for the region, utilizing multiple software programs and information sources. Consult with customers about new concepts, technologies and services and ensures outstanding customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Manage, maintain and inspect work performed by Energy Advantage Dealers on a regular basis and identify qualified contractors as needed Analyzes current load profile used by customers and recommends gas to gas, electric to gas and gas to electric conversions in situations where a gas/electric application will work more efficient for the customer. The Account Manager-tech support is responsible for estimating the conversion cost, recommending conversions and in some cases may coordinate conversions with a gas/Energy Advantage Dealer and assist if needed. Assist in the retention of existing commercial / industrial accounts using both natural gas and energy related products. Continuously communicates with management, operations, co-workers and customers to improve the delivery of TECO Partners products and services to ensure we are exceeding our customer's expectations. Gains trust and credibility as an industry expert in the customer's field of business and keeps abreast of products, new and emerging technologies and market conditions that will help provide solutions for our customers. Provides assistance in residential developments and promoting gas to builders and developers. Manage and update regional growth plans for revenue main extension projects within the region and provide sales and marketing support for all TPI revenue products utilizing multiple software programs and information sources. Provides customers, the sales staff (internal and external), Energy Advantage Dealers, contractors, etc. with product and technical support. Attends industry tradeshows and conventions promoting gas and new technologies  Performs all other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Must Haves: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years technical experience in the gas industry Proficient in software applications. Proficient in excel, word and power point. Excellent oral and written communications. Nice-to-Haves: Some college is preferred Some sales experience preferred.
