A Research Lab Specialist Associate position is available in Dr. Tomasz Cierpicki's lab to synthesize chemical compounds with anti-cancer activity.We are seeking a motivated person with expertise in organic chemistry, planning synthetic schemes, compound purification and analysis using spectroscopic methods.The research will be focused on evaluation of the activity and the mechanism of action of novel small molecule inhibitors blocking proteins in cancer.

• Synthesize chemical compounds with anti-cancer activity• Plan synthetic schemes• Purify and analyze compounds using spectroscopic methods• Evaluate the activity and mechanism of action of novel small molecule inhibitors blocking proteins in cancer• Contribute to the development of novel anti-cancer drug candidates
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to this research is required• One to three years related experience in organic chemistry• Mastery of oral and written English communication skills• Master's degree in organic chemistry• First author on at least one publication
