Workforce Development Spc/ Job Developer

Does helping people with intellectual disabilities gain employment and become independent sound like fulfilling employment? If so this could be a great experience for you. This position is integral to helping people with intellectual disabilities find employment in fully integrated settings in the community. You will help people become independent and self-sufficient and realize their dreams! We are a great team here at Goodwill's Detroit Career Center and we are looking to expand that team with a person who works within our Specialized Employment and Training team to fit the last piece of the puzzle in place for our participants; helping them to get and retain employment in their community. You will work with the individual participants and their career center support staff as well as the employers to find a good fit for both the participant/employee and the employer.
