Workday Payroll Manager

Job summary
Tuckahoe Holdings is seeking a Workday Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing and paymentPosition reports directly to Tuckahoe's CHRO and manages a team of Payroll AnalystsWorkday experience and payroll management experience required
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Manage payroll analytic, metrics, and delivery of pay file(s) via Workday• Assist with payroll setup and reporting in Workday and OSV environments• Review and oversee payroll entries, tax obligations, and compliance• Prepare off-cycle payments and work with external vendors• Lead process improvements in payroll function and reconcile year-end forms• Support auditors' requests and maintain internal controls• Oversee HR Helpdesk system and manage payroll team• Build relationships and demonstrate customer service mindset
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; CPP certification preferred• 10+ years of relevant payroll work experience and Workday platform utilization• Experience with multi-state payrolls, tax regulations, and large organizations• Strong Excel and Microsoft product experience• Knowledge of payroll systems and data flow• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Key Skills Needed
• Workday payroll set up, processing, reporting, security, time tracking, absence, and HCM• Experience with complex benefits programs and automated HR/payroll systems• Strong tax and tax regulation knowledge• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft products• Ability to learn and adapt to new flows and software technologies• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
