Calle Sol is seeking experienced Wok Cooks to join our new restaurant team. We are proud to offer the best Cuban and Peruvian food in Charlotte. Daily Responsibilities Include: Preparing amazing creations from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results Multitasking with focus and skill Knowing and complying consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices Wok cooking a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items Following the sanitization standards, making sure the station stays clean, and following all of the food handling safety standards Understands the wok cooking process and understands how to develop wok-hei even in a high-volume setting We Are Looking for Someone Who: Has 1-2 years of high-volume wok experience Has good communication skills Is comfortable standing for 8+ hour shifts Has experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation Has an advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, wok safety skills, and a voracious appetite for knowledge Company Information
