Web Designer / Developer

The Web Application Developer will play a key role in supporting our current infrastructure while also spearheading the development of new technologies. We're looking for a candidate who possesses excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
This role demands flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop new Web applications as directed by supervisor and management, utilizing both packaged and customized applications. Establish a company-wide Intranet system to facilitate data manipulation for internal staff members. Maintain and enhance existing Web applications, ensuring seamless integration with all internal systems. Conduct thorough testing of Web applications, both unit and system, engaging users as needed. Lead user acceptance testing and provide comprehensive reports on results. Design and implement user-friendly templates, databases, and interfaces. Develop database-driven Web interfaces to facilitate real-time information sharing. Create external Web portals for efficient data input and retrieval. Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Desired Skills:
Ability to work independently and efficiently, meeting deadlines consistently. Responsiveness in addressing support-related communications, including emails and phone calls. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Familiarity with Internet applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients, and Web Browsers. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Typing proficiency of 30-50 words per minute.
