Job Description:
As a Web Chat Officer at CH2M Hill in Chicago, Illinois, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat platforms. This part-time role is perfect for an entry-level candidate who is passionate, resourceful, and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Engage with customers through web chat to answer inquiries, provide assistance, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner- Utilize critical thinking and analysis skills to assess customer needs and provide personalized solutions- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by actively listening to customer concerns and addressing them effectively- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and share feedback with the team- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates
Requirements:- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of grammar and spelling- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team- Basic computer skills and familiarity with web chat platforms- No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in a customer service role
