Job Description:

Travelers Cos. is seeking a highly experienced Web Chat Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position, the Web Chat Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our web chat operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role and possess a high level of confidence and independence.

Responsibilities:1. Manage a team of web chat agents to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize web chat performance and efficiency.3. Monitor and analyze web chat metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.4. Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and Customer Service, to address technical issues and improve overall customer experience.5. Train and onboard new web chat agents, providing guidance and support as needed.6. Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in web chat technology.

Requirements:1. 8+ years of experience in web chat management or a related field.2. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to address issues quickly and effectively.4. Confident and independent, with the ability to make decisions autonomously.5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
