Web Chat Associate - Remote Work

Job Description:

Expeditors International of Washington is seeking a part-time Web Chat Associate to join our dynamic team in San Diego, California. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and is ideal for individuals with a confident and resourceful personality, as well as excellent problem-solving and persuasion skills.

Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries via web chat in a timely and professional manner.2. Provide accurate information about products and services, including pricing and availability.3. Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues or complaints.4. Proactively engage with customers to upsell and cross-sell additional products or services.5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels.6. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the company's CRM system.7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service to continuously improve performance.

Requirements:1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.2. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.4. Proficiency in using web chat software and CRM systems.5. Confident and resourceful personality with strong problem-solving skills.6. Persuasion skills to effectively sell products and services to customers.
