Warehouse Receiving Coordinator

The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator is an important role within the company, that inputs all order information for stock and special-order items into the retail system and ensures received items are handled appropriately. The role interacts with many different departments and individuals within the company, and is a main contact for vendors on incoming products. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring all products ordered are faultless and tagged correctly.
Responsibilities :
Order entry : Enter all orders placed into the retail system. Order Processing : Receiving all items into the retail system. Ensure items are sent to correct location/customer upon receiving. Product : Verify all items are tagged/marked correctly according to current pricing strategy. Communication : Maintains Fluid communication between various departments within the company as well as the vendors. Warehouse Inspection : Ensures items arriving are in pristine condition and handling items that are not directly with vendor. Requirements :
Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable using computers and other needed technology Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance and urgency Self-motivated Ability to thrive in a high stress environment Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time Ability to work independently and within a team environment Ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently *Experience with Microsoft Office and other retail systems preferred.
