Vinyl And Plastic Department Operator

National Sign & Marketing Corporation is an industry leading electrical signage manufacturer/contractor. Looking for individuals to fill various positions within our company.
Plastics and Vinyl Department- Assist in various plastic and vinyl components. Work may involve operating various hand tools such as hammers, cutters, trimmers, routers. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Under guidance you will receive instruction and orders for production of various sign projects. Weeding and application of cut vinyl graphics onto various substrates. Ability to use various hand tools such as hammers, cutters, trimmers, routers, jigsaws and panel saws. Assists in the assembly of signs. Other duties as assigned by production manager. Keep work area clean and free from safety hazards. May be required to do simple calculations and measurements as part of the production of parts. Properly clean and secure power machinery when work is completed. Properly clean and return hand tools when work is completed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (minimum qualifications): Starting at 6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment desired, but not necessary. Ability to use basic power and hand tools and general shop equipment. Experience: Relevant: 6 months (preferred). Additional Notes: Must be able to work in the United States. Benefits 401(k).
