Responsibilities
• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy• Record and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, and computers• Debit, credit, and total accounts using specialized accounting software• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulations• Receive and record cash, cash receipts, and checks• Code documents according to company procedures• Access financial information to answer questions• Perform general office duties• Maintain customer and employee confidentiality• Reconcile or report discrepancies in records and reports
Requirements
• 6+ months of Bookkeeping experience• Associates in Accounting or related degree preferred• Technology skills: Google Chrome, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows 10 or newer• Reading comprehension in English• Physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, etc.• Near Vision
Key Skills Needed
• Operate calculators, typewriters, and copy machines• Maintain customer and employee confidentiality• Team player with focus on customer service• Excellent communication skills• Type at least 45 WPM• Thoroughness, accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness
