ManageAmerica is looking for an experienced Utility Rate Analyst to join our Submetered Utility Billing Service team. The Utility Rate Analyst will analyze water, sewer, electric and gas rates, tariffs, and invoices to derive submetered rates to use in our proprietary billing system. This is a remote, work-from-home position.
The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills and enjoys performing complex analyses and then "translating them into English" to enable clients to make informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Work on ManageAmerica's proprietary utility billing software and systems.
Analyze and validate submetered utility rates for tenant billing in clients' residential communities. Utilities billed include gas, electric, water, sewer, & trash.
Research and collect data for rate analyses using master meter bills, utility provider tariffs and websites, and telephone interviews with providers.
Perform data entry tasks, validate data entry, and perform final bill audits.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Three to five years of related experience
Excellent analytical skills
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
