We have an opening for an Experienced Cutter at our Upholstery Manufacturing facility in Archdale, NC. Qualifications & Job Responsibilities: A minimum of 3 or more years experience in marking and cutting fabric for fine custom furniture pieces (fabric and leather)
Ability to read production tickets and any special instructions Utilize tools such as scissors, electric cutting knife, hand-held knife, chalk, ruler Cut fabric from roll according to specifications Must lay out pattern pieces properly and cut fabric exactly so that all points match Must use fabric efficiently to minimize as little waste as possible Ability to work at a productive pace with no errors Work closely with Cutting Group Leader and fabric inventory control Understanding of fabric layout-COM, Center cut, flow match, plain cover Ability to adjust patterns as needed for custom pieces that may differ from standard Must be able to cut leather pieces as needed Benefits: Stickley offers a competitive benefits package including:
