Responsibilities
• Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business• Perform independent verification of insured's operations• Review and process change requests on in-force policies• Evaluate in-force policies at renewal• Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives, and processes• Participate in projects as assigned
Requirements
• Strong investigative skills• Ability to utilize the internet as a research tool• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines• Adaptability in a constantly changing environment• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with a strong score on the Wonderlic test• Prior experience in Underwriting a plus, but not required
